Gardenia tubifera - 'Kula' Air-Layer Plant
An uncommon and beautiful fragrant Gardenia species with flowers that turn from white to orange!
This delightful species is somewhat rare among Gardenia collections. Stunning white fragrant flowers open in the evening, and slowly turn orange over the course of two days, giving plants in full bloom with flowers of different maturity levels a very striking tropical ornamental appearance since there can be flowers of three colors on the plant at once . The scent is sweet, powdery and reminiscent of jasmine and plumeria, becoming more fruity as they age.
This air layered clone of our mature flowering plants and will bloom quickly!
