Pánfilo 1528
It has been nearly 500 years since Pánfilo de Narváez landed in the Tampa Bay Area. Inspired by the 1st explorer to step foot in what is now present day St. Petersburg,FL, this cologne takes you back in time to uncharted territory, shipwrecks, promised riches, and the historical journey of the 4 sole survivors of the expedition- the first 3 Spanish explorers and the first African explorer to travel across present day Southwestern United States and Northern Mexico. Narváez was not one of them. He drowned in an attempt to escape hostile Native Americans by raft along with hundreds of his men.
What was going through Narváez’s head during that fateful journey? Did he miss the scent of orange trees that line the streets of Spain? What spices did he carry with him, as he stomped through cypress swamps and oak hammocks?
Old World blends with New World in this uniquely “True Floridian” scent. Bitter orange, rosemary, and spices carried at that point in history meet oakmoss and Florida cypress in historically inspired harmony. Part of my St. Pete Scentimental line!
